Team

Team Pirate Race Productions is a diverse group of athletes who regularly compete in mountain bike, road, cyclocross and multisport races around the country. Our team consists of competitors ranging from raw beginner to seasoned experts, kids and grandparents, men and women. Our goal is to create a community of racers who are dedicated to building their sports by mentoring young athletes, encouraging novices, increasing opportunities for women, and creating more riding opportunities for all. We do this by staging incredible events, that both improve the visibility of our sport and underwrite our mission.

Pirate Race Productions recently merged with Team Kona/NRC, formerly Team Pedalmashers, one of Texas’ largest and most successful cycling and multisport clubs. We are excited to extend their proud winning tradition while preserving the camaraderie, openness, and impeccable sportsmanship the ‘mashers have always represented.

Pirate Race Productions has members throughout the United States, with our largest representation in Texas, the Carolinas, and New England. Our members race everywhere, with annual appearances at major events in Canada, Mexico and Central America. We are one of the only amateur racing programs in the country that offers both a strong local focus and a national reputation.

Pirate Race Productions can now offer our sponsors not only the opportunity to grow their brand by partnering with our events, but also the ability to associate with an incredibly well respected and highly visible group of athletes who make a positive contribution to their communities.

Our recent results include winning the individual and team titles in the Texas Cyclocross womens’ competitions, winning the SCCCC Men’s A division cyclocross championship, 4th in the Expert Men 25-29 at the USA Cycling MTB National Championships,  and 1st in the Cat 2 Men 30-39 and 40-49 with two other top-10 finishes for 2009 Texas Fall Cup Mountain Bike Series.

In 2010 we will be competing in TMBRA, EFTA, SERC and Southern Classic cross country mountain bike races, endurance mountain bike races around the US, CCA and TXBRA road races, and NCCX, MSG, and TXBRA cyclocross races.
